Drystone Support

Getting started: Models tab → download a model (Llama 3.2 1B is the quickest) → it loads automatically → chat. After the one-time download, everything works offline — including in Airplane Mode.

Common questions

Why does the app say "Waking your model"? Models load into memory on each launch (a few seconds). Your last model loads automatically.

A model download failed / a file 404s. Model files are hosted by their publishers on huggingface.co and occasionally move. Try the Search HF tab for the same model, or email us and we'll update the catalog.

Dictation doesn't work. Drystone only uses on-device dictation (audio never leaves your phone). Enable it in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Dictation, and ensure your language's offline pack is downloaded.

A PDF won't attach. Scanned PDFs without a text layer can't be indexed yet. Text-based PDFs, TXT and MD work.

How do I delete my data? Chat → hold any message or chat to delete; or Settings → Privacy & security → Erase everything. Deleting the app also removes all data — nothing exists anywhere else.
